Experimental Watercolours with Carole Baker (10:00 - September 24th, 2008)
Carole Baker RBSA was born in 1965 in Lichfield, Staffordshire. She trained as a Graphic Designer and ran her own business for 18 years. Then in 2007 she turned to painting full time from her studio in Chase Terrace, Staffordshire. She attended Matthew Boulton College and later studied at Lichfield School of Art. Elected Full Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists in April 2008, Carole regularly exhibits there and in gallery shows and open exhibitions throughout the UK.
Ideal for absolute beginners or those who are a little rusty! You will be encouraged to ‘play’ with paint and you will produce a sheet of techniques including wet-in-wet, spattering, salt effects, wax resist.
