Understanding Your Compact Camera: 3 x 2.5 hr sessions £79.50 includes lunch
An introduction to your camera and its settings. Come and learn about pixels, optical and digital zoom and picture quality. There will be lots of time to practice outdoors composing photographs and using the focus lock to maximise results with particular attention to portraits and flower photographs. Intermediate Digital SLR Camera: Full day course, £75.00 includes lunch
JPEG or RAW? Learn the secrets the professionals normally keep to themselves! A course for those photographers that feel confident at using the aperture and shutter speed modes on their cameras. Exposure compensation, fill and balanced flash, when and how to change your ISO settings will all be covered. Tuesday 15th July 1.30 - 3.30 pm Pastel demonstration with artist Ian Risely.
Ian specialises in animal and wildlife studies and regularly takes private commissions of pets. He will be creating a work in pastel for the group, a medium he has been using for 25 years!
